APP Acquires Ozark Tubular Products

American Piping Products has purchased the assets of Ozark Tubular Products. Headquartered in St. Louis, Ozark is a distributor of carbon, alloy and stainless steel pipe and tube products for the energy, processing, manufacturing, fabrication and construction industries.

"The acquisition of Ozark is another important piece of our strategic growth plan. Ozark is an excellent company with great people who serve a diverse customer base. Ozark shares our philosophy of superior customer service, deep technical knowledge and rock solid integrity," says Al Rheinnecker, CEO of American Piping Products.

Ozark President Wayne Copple's team will remain with the new company.

"Ozark is the first of what I hope will be a number of highly targeted acquisitions. Our historic growth has been organic. However, acquisitions enable us to complement our internal growth efforts and provide our target markets with additional products, services and resources," says Matt Danis, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of American Piping Products.

APP is a distributor of carbon and chrome moly pipe, tubing, fittings, and flanges used in the processing, energy, manufacturing, fabrication, and construction industries. Also based in St. Louis, APP has locations in Houston, Philadelphia, Chicago and Baton Rouge, La.
