CHRG Transitions to United Performance Metals

CHRG Metals, formerly a Division of O’Neal Steal, has transitioned to O'Neal Industries affiliate United Performance Metals, Hamilton, Ohio. CHRG Metals is a supplier of corrosion- and heat-resistant stainless and nickel alloy sheet and plate, providing plasma cutting, shearing, laser/waterjet cutting, sawing, forming and other processes.

The transition places both companies in a position to bring their customers additional products and services, says United Performance Metals President Tom Kennard. "The products offered by United Performance Metals and CHRG Metals represent a perfect complement to one another. The integration of both company’s products and processing increases the value we’re capable of delivering to all of the customers and markets we serve."

As a result of the transition, United Performance Metals gains a physical presence in Texas, in addition to its Ohio and California locations. The company is now capable of offering and processing stainless steel, nickel alloys, cobalt alloys and other high-temperature or corrosion-resistant alloys in a range of thicknesses.
