Private Group Acquires Theis Precision Steel
 
Private investment group TPS Acquisition LLC has acquired the assets of Theis Precision Steel Corp., Bristol, Conn. The new company will be renamed Theis Precision Steel USA, Inc.

TPS Acquisition consists of Connecticut investors with metal stamping, fabrication, finance and mill experience. The new group is committed to expanding the operations and product offerings from Theis Precision Steel, which currently provides specialty carbon and stainless strip steel. Theis serves various end markets, including saws and cutting tools, spring steels, automotive, construction and others.

"We are committed to investing and building Theis Precision Steel USA into a global specialty and precision steel company that will be more price competitive, customer centric and deliver increased value and innovation solutions to our growing customer base," says Peter Gersky, the company's new president.
