Introducing MCNDigital

Metal Center News is turning the page on a new chapter: MCNDigital. Subscribers can now read the magazine on their desktops, tablets and smartphones. Clicking on the image below will take you to the January issue at MetalCenterNews.com. Navigation is pretty simple and intuitive. Play with it for a few minutes and you will see how easy it is to preview the magazine's contents and search for the information most useful to you.

Every month, subscribers will receive an email reminder that their digital copy is ready to view. MCNDigital is only accessible to qualified or paid subscribers to Metal Center News. It is meant as a supplement to the regular print edition, rather than a replacement and will be available approximately two weeks after the print version. To subscribe to the print edition and qualify to access the digital edition, click here.

Contrary to some perceptions, print media is not dead. Far from it. Our readership remains strong and devoted to the print publication. Posting news on our website has not changed that. Emailing our periodic newsletter has not changed that. Nor will MCNDigital. What it will do is give readers an additional option for sourcing the latest information on the metals industry, from anywhere, anytime, via the Internet. We hope readers continue to peruse the pages of MCN, both news and advertising, as well as use MCNDigital at those times when an electronic resource is more convenient.

Please give it a try and let us know what you think. We welcome your questions and comments at feedback@metalcenternews.com.

The Metal Center News Directory of Master Distributors—distributors who sell to other distributors—is an invaluable tool for service centers seeking new sources for special or hard-to-find products. Master distributors play an important role in the marketplace, giving service centers an alternative to buying in mill quantities and helping to remove redundant and excess inventories from the distribution channel.
