Future Metals Opens Dayton Location

Specialty metals distributor Future Metals has opened its ninth service center in Dayton, Ohio. The new 28,000-square-foot facility is located at 4736 Wadsworth Road, and will serve as a satellite location of the company's Tamarac, Fla., sales office and warehouse.

The new service center, which opened its doors in January, provides aerospace manufacturing and aftermarket customers in the Midwest with localized inventory and just-in-time deliveries. Products carried include stainless, nickel, titanium and aluminum tubing, as well as extrusions, sheet and bar products. Five saws, two side loaders and a fork lift are used to process orders.

"Opening our Dayton service center demonstrates Future Metals' focus on increasing value for customers through total supply chain solutions, such as customized inventory management programs and a variety of value-added products and services," says David Wallace, Dayton operations manager.
