Pennsylvania Steel Adds Warehouses, People
Pennsylvania Steel Co. Inc., Bensalem, Pa., has made equipment and facility expansions and appointments at several of its divisions. The company serves the manufacturing industries through nine warehouses in the eastern U.S.
At its Richmond Division, the company has appointed Paul DiCamillis as territory manager for the Newport News, Norfolk and Chesapeake markets. The division also has installed a MetlSaw precision aluminum plate saw in the company’s expanded Ashland, Va., warehouse.
At Bensalem, Dennis Johnson has been appointed to the newly created position of strategic accounts manager. Johnson, who previously served as national sales manager, will be responsible for the development of large program accounts across the entire company.
At its North Carolina Division, the company has purchased an 85,000-square-foot warehouse in Stanley, N.C. The warehouse and sales office currently in Gastonia, N.C., will be relocated to Stanley this month. The new building will allow for product and inventory expansion.
The company also has relocated its Long Island Division to a 40,000-square-foot warehouse in Bethpage. The new location is larger than the previous facility in Hauppauge, N.Y. A stacker rack system has been installed at the new site, allowing for growth in product and stock.
Additionally, the company has appointed Maureen McCarron to territory manager for Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island at the company's New England Division.
