Samuel Opens New Facility in Georgia

Samuel, Son & Co., Ltd., Mississauga, Ontario, has opened a new, larger facility in Alpharetta, Ga.

The new plant offers 75,000 square feet of warehouse space and 28-foot ceilings to accommodate more than 1,200 racks. The facility has 40 percent more racking compared to the previous location, allowing the company to process orders more efficiently. The new location also houses two new aluminum saws, a plate saw and a cut-off saw.

"We have always been able to supply a wide range of steel and metals for numerous regional industries," says Ken Wolfe, general manager of Samuel Atlanta. "But these enhancements take us to the next level of productivity and allow us to expand into new markets, including aerospace-related metals."
