Farwest Moves into New Facility in Washington
Farwest Steel Corp. has moved into a new 58,000-square-foot facility in Moses Lake, Wash. The move was made to better serve customers in central and eastern Washington State, the company says.
The Eugene, Ore.-based company is adding processing capabilities in Moses Lake and its other locations, including oxyfuel, plasma and laser cutting machines. It now operates 26 machines at its various facilities.
Earlier this year, Farwest expanded its operations into the Midwest for the first time with the opening of a new location in Oklahoma City. Though Farwest opened the Oklahoma City facility to provide logistical support, it expects to add processing capabilities there over time.
