Edward Lehner will be become the new president and CEO of Ryerson, Inc., replacing Michael C. Arnold, who is retiring at the end of the month. Lehner has been serving as the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer since 2012.
James V. Beebe has been hired as general manager of Olympic Steel’s Siler City, N.C., operation. He has more than 30 years of experience in the metals fabrication industry, most recently as vice president of business development for a North Carolina-based armor fabricator.
Chuck Schmitt, president of SSAB Americas, has been elected chairman of the American Iron and Steel Institute, Washington. He succeeds ArcelorMittal USA Chairman Mike Rippey.
Richard Robinson, chairman and CEO of Norfolk Iron and Metal, Norfolk, Neb., has been elected chairman of the Metals Service Center Institute board. He succeeds Reliance Steel & Aluminum Chairman and CEO David Hannah, who served in the position the previous two years.
Marmon/Keystone has promoted Staci Griffin to district manager of the West Coast, based out of the company’s Los Angeles service center. Griffin will have responsibility for sales and operations at Marmon/Keystone’s Los Angeles, Fresno and Sacramento locations in California and its Seattle facility.
ICI Metals, Inc., Strongsville, Ohio, has added Bryan Russo to its team of outside salespeople for Central and Southern Ohio. Bryan will specialize in the sale of aluminum, stainless and carbon steel.
