Niagara LaSalle to Close Buffalo Operation
Niagara LaSalle will close its Buffalo, N.Y., steel bar production facility at the end of July. The Hammond, Ind.-based steelmaker cited persistently difficult market conditions for the closure. The company and its predecessors have produced cold-drawn bars in Buffalo since 1929.

Niagara LaSalle will continue to operate its other facilities in Hammond, Ind.; Franklin Park and South Holland, Ill.; Midlothian, Texas; and Warren, Mich.
