Leeco Opens Steel Plate Facility in Tulsa

Leeco Steel, a supplier of carbon, HSLA, heat-treated and alloy plate steel, has opened a facility in Tulsa, Okla. The sales and distribution center is Leeco’s first in Oklahoma and 12th overall. It is expected to be fully operational by July.

“We are expanding our reach in a region we currently serve in an effort to provide enhanced service, increased commercial coverage and stronger customer connection,” says Denton J. Nordhues, president and CEO of Leeco Steel. “Tulsa is the next logical step in our strategic vision for Leeco Steel.”

The facility is located inside the Tulsa Port of Catoosa Industrial Park with space for future expansion. The building is equipped for efficient distribution with drive-through bays and accessibility to barge and rail shipments. It is easily accessible via highways 167 and 266.

Leeco Steel, headquartered in Lisle, Ill., is a wholly owned subsidiary of O’Neal Industries.
