Ryerson Holding Corp., has appointed Erich Schnaufer to the position of chief interim chief financial officer. Schnaufer, currently the company’s controller and chief accounting officer, succeeds Edward Lehner, who has appointed the company’s president and CEO.

Chicago Tube and Iron Co. has appointed Ron Chalos as assistant general manager of the company’s Indianapolis Division. Also, Joel Winters has been promoted to outside sales manager of the division.

Jim Mintun has been promoted to vice president of sales, Northeast, by Gibbs Metals, Southington, Conn. Mintun has been with Gibbs for more than 30 years.

Carpenter Technology Corp., Wyomissing, Pa., has appointed Tony Theune as president and CEO. He had been serving as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Tim Lain will serve as acting CFO while a search is under way. Former CEO Gregory Pratt will remain on the company’s board of directors.
