Northwest Explores Sale of Remaining Energy Business

Northwest Pipe Co., Vancouver, Wash., is considering the sale of its remaining Energy Tubular Products business, which includes line, structural and standard pipe. The energy business is located in Atchison, Kan.

"The decision to explore a sale of our remaining Energy Tubular Products business reflects our long-term desire to continue to sharpen our focus on our core Water Transmission business through organic growth initiatives, as well as through M&A activity," says Scott Montross, president and CEO of Northwest Pipe Company.

In 2014, Northwest sold most of its oil country tubular goods business to Centric Pipe, LLC, an affiliate of SB International.
