Penn Stainless Builds Pennsylvania Facility

Penn Stainless Products plans to open a new 35,000-square-foot distribution facility in Jackson Center in Mercer County, Pa., in November. The facility is located near the intersection of Interstates 79 and 80 and is well positioned to offer next-day flat-bed delivery to customers in the Pittsburgh, Erie, Akron and Cleveland areas, the company says.

“Penn Stainless has been providing dedicated logistics support to the Western Pennsylvania/Eastern Ohio area for the last 10 years,” says Jim Seward, president of Penn Stainless. “This investment strengthens our commitment to the customer base in the region by allowing us to provide better service from a local, central hub.”
