Chicago Tube & Iron Co., Romeoville, Ill., has made a number of organizational changes. Bill Zielinski was promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer. Curt Roe will transition to senior vice president, targeting a May 2016 retirement. Mike DiNanno will remain chief financial officer, while also overseeing the company’s information technology department. Additionally, Randy Holndoner has been promoted to corporate manager of IT, Sean Vietti has been promoted to assistant general manager of the Romeoville Division, Rod Van Rite has been promoted to assistant general manager of the Fond du Lac Division, and Robert Powers has been promoted to the position of marketing director, pipes, valves and fittings.

John Zemon has joined Specialty Metals Products, Stow, Ohio, as the company’s new president. Zemon had retired as vice president of stainless sales and marketing for Atlas Steel Products. He is a past chairman of MSCI’s Specialty Metals council.

Charter Steel has appointed Damon Wos vice president of sales and a member of the executive team. Wos joined Charter Steel from Central Steel & Wire Co.

Dennis Oates, chairman, president and CEO of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc., has been elected chairman of the Specialty Steel Industry of North America. Terrence Hartford, vice president of ATI Defense, was elected vice chairman by the trade group.
