SMU to Host Ohio Workshop

Steel Market Update will host a Steel 101: Introduction to Steel Making & Market Fundamentals Workshop May 17-18 at the Wingate by Wyndham in Sylvania, Ohio. The workshop will focus on all aspects of flat and long product production, quality, and market drivers. It also includes a plant tour of the nearby North Star BlueScope mill.

Instructors include SMU Founder John Packard, retired Severstal executives John Eckstein and Steve Painter, Steel Market Analysis owner Peter Wright, and Mario Briccetti, principal of the supply chain consulting firm Briccetti and Associates.
