MSCI Partners with National Safety Council

The Metals Service Center Institute is partnering with the National Safety Council to provide new tools to association members. The partnership is part of MSCI’s commitment to deliver relevant safety resources to its members, MSCI executives say.

“Advocating for an industry-wide safety culture is a critical part of all that we do at MSCI,” says Bob Weidner, MSCI president and CEO. “At MSCI, we take partnership very seriously; for us it means building a long, lasting relationship. We believe in working with the very best, which is why we’ve chosen to partner with NSC, the recognized leader in safety.”

The new tools available to MSCI members include: access to NSC safety experts; local access to the council’s valuable Advanced Safety Certificate program; access to tools that will help member companies assess their own safety programs and safety professionals against industry competency models approved by the MSCI Safety Committee; and other valuable NSC training and information resources.

“For more than 100 years, NSC has been devoted to making our world safer,” says Deborah A.P. Hersman, NSC president and CEO. “We are pleased to join with MSCI as they elevate safety and bring it to their members. By blending their industry expertise with our expertise in safety, together we will help companies create strong, lasting safety cultures.”
