People on the Move

Del Land has been appointed chief financial officer for Pacesetter Steel Services, Atlanta. He replaces Jon Rapaport, who retired from the company after 34 years of service.

Esther Potash has retired as chief information officer for Olympic Steel Inc., after 19 years with the Cleveland-based service center company. Her responsibilities will be assumed by Chris Garrett, who was promoted to vice president, IT – flat-rolled.

Tate Forrester has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing by O’Neal Steel, Birmingham, Ala. He joined the company in 2009, and had been most recently serving as director of corporate development at O’Neal Industries.

Sam Doveikis has joined the finance team at American Piping Products, St. Louis. He has experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis, audit and treasury.

Alan Morris has been hired as senior vice president—sales for Falcon Steel America, Fort Worth, Texas. Falcon is a designer, engineer and fabricator of steel structures.
