New Galv Plant Coming to South Carolina

Steel Creek Galvanizing Company LLC will build a new facility in Cherokee County, S.C. The 82,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in 2018.

“After an exhaustive search for an ideal location, we are pleased to announce that we have found it in Cherokee County. The assistance and cooperation of state, county and local officials has been outstanding, and we look forward to beginning construction soon,” Steel Creek Galvanizing Company LLC President Jim Mack says.

The business will specialize in hot-dipped galvanizing of fabricated steel products.
