People on the Move

Ron Lenhart has been promoted from sales/business development to vice president of business development, purchasing for Specialty Pipe & Tube Inc., Mineral Ridge, Ohio. Also, Mark McAllister will manage activities for both inside and outside sales groups as sales manager, and Lauri Gill has been promoted to purchasing manager, while retaining her duties as a sales representative. Each will share responsibilities previously handled by Ron Granato, who retired after 48 years with the company.

Rob Loveman has been appointed director of sales for MidWest Materials, Perry, Ohio. He has more than 25 years of experience in the steel industry, having served as executive vice-president of Loveman Steel Corp. Loveman will help MidWest Materials in its plans to expand its offerings in steel plate products. “With MidWest’s stretch leveling capabilities we can deliver memory-free steel plate 0.640 inches thick, up to 100 inches wide and 54 feet long. We stock high-strength, weather bearing and pressure vessel materials perfect for many industries,” says Loveman.

TW Metals has hired David Treglia as branch manager of the company’s Cincinnati branch. The company has also promoted Renee Burcham to branch manager of the Charleston, W.Va., branch. She had served as regional inventory manager of the company’s Northern Region. Treglia and Burcham will replace Norwin Lilly, who had served as general manager of both facilities before retiring after 42 years of service.

TimkenSteel, Canton, Ohio, has named Tim Haubenstricker as vice president of sales, and Rob Freilin as vice president of business development and product management.

Kenneth Mack has been appointed president and CEO of Northern States Metals, a Youngstown, Ohio-based provider of custom-designed and engineered aluminum extrusions. Mack had been serving in an interim capacity since April.

Rakesh Kumar has been appointed vice president of sales, marketing and service by laser cutting systems manufacturer Cincinnati Inc. He has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing and sales.
