Metal Managers on the Move

United States Steel Corp. has made numerous changes to its executive team, including several changes to its flat-rolled products organization. Anton Lukac has been appointed vice president of flat-rolled operations; Sharon K. Owen will succeed him as vice president-supply chain and customer service. Matthew Perkins will replace her as general manager, Gary Works; Michael Rhoads will fill Perkins’ position as vice president and general director of U.S. Steel Serbia. Additionally, Lisa A. Roudabush has been named to the newly created position of managing director-product quality for North American flat-rolled products; Scott Buckiso will replace her as general manager of Mon Valley Works.

Marc Lajoie has joined Marmon/Keystone Canada as an account manager. Lajoie, who will serve the Quebec market, has seven years experience in the stainless steel market.

Joe Suarez has accepted the position of director general for Venture Steel de Mexico, continuing the Canadian service center company’s expansion plans in Mexico. Suarez has more than 40 years experience in various manufacturing sectors, including automotive. 

Dennis Gay has been named Southeast U.S. sales representative for New World Stainless LLC, Somerset, N.J. His sales territory spans all of Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and eastern Tennessee.

Gary J. Vroman has been named executive vice president, high performance forgings and castings and president, ATI Ladish. Vroman had been president and CEO of Ladish prior to Allegheny Technology’s acquisition of Ladish Co. in March.
