The Caldwell Group and the U.S. operations of the RUD Group have entered a partnership to provide lifting and material handling solutions to the metals industry. The companies will unite their sales and marketing activities in North America within a common organization.
Under the new arrangement, the companies’ collective customers and business partners in the U.S. and Canada will have access to the partners’ complete product range, including Caldwell lifting equipment, Renfroe clamps, and RUD lifting and material handling solutions. Additionally, the companies said they will leverage their sales and service teams to “considerably intensify and improve the level of support provided” to customers.
All the new partnership’s brands will remain intact, with each product line retaining its own worldwide recognized brand name: Caldwell, J.C. Renfroe and RUD.
By combining the competencies for material handling solutions, the development cooperation will also ensure that products and solutions are optimally adapted to specific market needs in the U.S. and Europe, executives said. At RUD’s Hiawatha site in Iowa, the former RUD US will concentrate specifically on tire chain products and their corresponding product groups. The remaining business divisions for RUD US have been transferred to and integrated into Caldwell in Rockford, Ill.
