Andes Coil Processors has added a 0.250-inch by 10-inch edging and conditioning/correction line at its Gary, Ind., facility. The line was installed to meet increased demand for edged product.
With the addition of its new edging capability, Andes Coil Midwest expands the facility’s ability to process custom material. It can provide full round, round, deburred or square edges produced by edge rolls on material up to 0.250-inch thick in coil-to-coil and up to 0.1875-inch thick in custom lengths.
Additional services now available at the Gary facility include, decambering of previously slit cambered material corrected; edge slit correction; and gauge/width reduction.
