Cress New Chair of AMPD

The Association of Metal Processors and Distributors has named Joe Cress the new board chair. He replaces Michael Barnett from Grand Steel.
Cress is the business director for outside processing at Worthington Industries.
The AMPD was formed through the Spring 2023 merger of the Association of Steel Distirbutors and the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association’s Metal Processing Council. The purpose of the AMPD is to keep its members abreast of the latest developments in the metals industry and foster a better understanding of the role between the distributor, mill, processors and service centers.
