Varennes, Quebec-based Coilex has joined the North American Steel Alliance as the newest member-owner. Founded in the 1950s, Coilex has evolved from a toll processor to become a steel service center specializing in steel sheet and coil plate products.
Coilex has become a leader in laser quality material with cut-to-length capabilities up to 72-inch wide, 5/8-inch thick and up to 480 inches long. Today, three generations of the founding Fatigati family continue to grow Coilex as a predominant steel service center in Eastern Canada and the Northeast United States.
“Coilex is grateful to be a part of NASA as we believe it will help grow Coilex to new levels through new partnerships and relationships created through NASA,” said Sandro Fatigati, president.
NASA is an organization of more than 120 independently owned steel service centers with the combined assets of over 375 distribution and processing facilities throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
