Service Center Shipments Decline in November

Shipments of steel and aluminum were down in both the U.S. and Canada in November, reports the Metals Service Center Institute, Rolling Meadows, Ill.
U.S. service center shipments in November decreased 11.6 percent compared with the same month in 2018. Aluminum shipments were off 4.7 percent compared with the prior November.
In Canada, steel shipments declined 11 percent in November compared with the prior year. Aluminum shipments declined 3.4 percent.
