Stainless Trade Groups Launch New Sites

By on

Two stainless steel trade associations have launched new websites. The Specialty Steel Industry of North America, a voluntary trade association representing the majority of producers of specialty metals on the continent, has developed a new site at www.ssina.com.

The new site features a streamlined, modern design, as well as improved functionality across devices and browsers, the association claims. The site incorporates new and enhanced content on a variety of topics of interest to SSINA members, customers, and specifiers of specialty metals, as well as policymakers and the media.

“We are thrilled to unveil our new website,” said SSINA Chairman and Universal Stainless Chairman, President and CEO Dennis Oates. “The new site provides a comprehensive overview of our industry, from the chemical composition of our alloying elements to the vast array of our customers’ end products, and everything in between.”

The global stainless group, the International Stainless Steel Forum, has also developed a new site, which can be found at worldstainless.org. The site aims to be “the most comprehensive site for anyone interested in stainless steels.

The navigation and look and feel of the website have been upgraded to a more contemporary level. A key feature of the new site is the responsive design, which means that its content will display well on all devices, be it a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

The site has five core sections which inform about stainless steels, their sustainability, applications, statistics and training.
