The North American Steel Alliance has welcomed Venture Steel as the newest member-owner company of North America’s largest metals purchasing cooperative. Headquartered in Toronto, Venture Steel has emerged as a leading flat-rolled metal processor and distributor focused upon providing service in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
“Venture Steel is pleased to join the North American Steel Alliance. We are always eager to improve our own results and being a partner in NASA, along with its illustrious membership ranks, will further enable our efforts to grow,” said Tony Kafato, president, Venture Steel. “Working alongside industry-leading peers in metal processing and distribution will only aid Venture in building a higher performing supply chain for our customers.”
Founded in 1997, Venture Steel has continually grown and diversified, both organically as well as through acquisition. Starting with a single slitter and a demanding automotive customer base, Venture Steel has become the value-added processor and distributor of choice for steel and aluminum requirements, the company claims.
“On behalf of the NASA community, we are excited to welcome Venture Steel to our growing list of metal service centers that benefit from being part of the co-op,” said Mike Wagner, president of NASA.
