AZZ Precoat Installs Red Bud Slitting Line

Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, Ill., AZZ Precoats Metals has installed a Light Gauge Slitting Line at its Granite City, Ill., location. The new Slitting Line features Red Bud Industries’ Semi-Automatic Slitting Head, which allow for quick set up between orders.
The line has the ability to process cold-rolled, prepaint, and galvanized materials ranging from 0.010 inches to 0.30 inches in thickness with a maximum speed of 500 FPM. The low passline, compact, surface-mounted design also eliminates the need for costly foundation work, a key factor in AZZ Precoat Metals' decision to choose Red Bud Industries.
