MEC Promotes Two Executives

Metal Exchange Corp., St. Louis, has promoted Vijay Natarajan to the position of executive vice president of trading. He had been serving as global business manager.
Natarajan has been with MEC for 13 years, most recently in charge of Global Primary Products with oversight of the company’s risk management practice. In his new role, he will be responsible for the company’s global trading division and lead initiatives and strategy throughout the organization’s headquarters.
Additionally, President of Trading Ben Evans has transitioned to the newly created position of vice president of corporate development. He will focus on growth and development opportunities for MEC, which offers purchasing, manufacturing and processing of nonferrous metals through its family of companies.
