James J. Claussen has been appointed executive vice president and CFO by Ryerson Holding Corp. He had been serving as president of Central Steel & Wire Co., which Ryerson acquired in 2018. He will continue to serve as president of CS&W until a replacement is named.
Claussen joined Ryerson in 2002, holding several financial leadership positions in the Chicago-based company, including CFO of Ryerson’s North-West Region and general manager of corporate development.
“Jim took the road less traveled by developing a track record of accomplishment in our company and industry spanning senior financial and operational leadership positions over more than 18 years that makes him uniquely qualified to excel in the role as we move into the next phase of our company's transformation,” said Eddie Lehner, Ryerson’s president and CEO.
