ANDRITZ to Supply New Cut-to-Length Line and Leveler in China

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical Co. Ltd., China, to supply a new cut-to-length line and leveler. The startup is planned for the 4th quarter of 2021.
The equipment will be used to produce ultra-high-strength steel grades in a thickness range of three to 25 millimeters, with a width of 2,130 millimeters. Material strengths of up to 1,900 N/mm² will be leveled here after tempering.
The ANDRITZ scope of supply comprises the complete cut-to-length line and leveler, including the mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as startup of both installations.
Shenglong Metallurgical Co. Ltd. is a joint-stock private enterprise in the province of Guangxi and produces flat and long steel products.
