Bri-Steel Building Second Mill

By on

Bri-Steel Manufacturing will build another thermal pipe expansion mill at its Enid, Okla., location. The company acquired the former GEFCO facility, which covers approximately 329,000 square feet on 43 acres of land.

Bri-Steel has completed the equipment layout and has started to procure the manufacturing equipment for the plant. Renovations and pre-commissioning work is expected to begin in the next few months.

The plant will produce seamless pipe in sizes 12 to 36 inches in wall thickness up to three inches thick. Bri-Steel will make carbon steel and alloy steel pipes.

Upon commissioning, the company will apply to expand its API Monogram program to include the Enid location.
