Hanna Steel Expanding in Tuscaloosa

Hanna Steel will invest $20 million to expand operations in Alabama, the Tuscaloosa News reported. The announcement was made by the Tuscaloosa County Economic Development Authority.
In its expansion, Hanna Steel will add approximately 9,000 square feet to its existing facility in the Tuscaloosa County Airport Industrial Park. Construction is expected to begin in the first half of this year.
Opened in 1991, Hanna Steel now produces structural and mechanical tubing out of the 600,000-square-foot facility in Tuscaloosa. It also operates a tube mill in Pekin, Ill., plus a coil coating facility in Fairfield, Ala.
