Private Equity Firm Acquires Byrne Chiarlone

Dec 11, 2024 Byrne Chiarlone LP, a Chester, Pa.-based metal fabricator, has been acquired by Chicago-based Elmsley Capital. Byrne Chiarlone, which consists of William A. Schmidt & Sons, K. Wagner Machine and ERS, has been known for its precision and reliability in metal fabrication, machining and industrial coatings.
For Elmsley Capital, the acquisition strengthens their position in the custom products segment. Elmsley intends to retain the independence of the Byrne Chiarlone business units and build on its legacy.
BMI Mergers & Acquisitions, an advisory firm specializing in sell-side M&A for privately held businesses, led the transaction process.
