Production activities resumed at the radial forge at Universal Stainless & Alloy Products’ North Jackson, Ohio, facility. The forge had been involved in a fire at the facility earlier in June.
The fire resulted in electrical and hydraulic-associated damage. The machine was tested and operations with it were resumed in late June.
No one was injured in the fire.
“We are very pleased that this incident was resolved quickly, and we are able to continue our forge production efforts. Our employees stepped up and completed the repairs in the most efficient manner while others continued to focus on production,” said Chairman, President and CEO Dennis Oates.
