Red Bud Receives Packaging Line Patent

Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, Ill., has received a patent on its automatic Magazine Pallet Loading System for slit coil packaging lines.
A real bottleneck for many slitting lines is the efficient packaging of the slit coils. In many instances, the slitting line is stopped and waiting on packaging of the slit coils. The more automation you can add to your packaging line, the more efficient your whole slitting operation can be.
The Magazine Pallet Loading System allows operators to pre-stage multiple pallets for the packaging line. The system can be loaded with multiple pallets and will then dispense the individual pallets as needed onto the packaging line’s sortation table with no operator intervention.
This system eliminates the need to manually load pallets onto the sortation table.
