Steel Dynamics Announces Leadership Changes

Jan 16, 2019 Steel Dynamics, Fort Wayne, Ind., had created and filled two new leadership positions, and made two other leadership changes.
Miguel Alvarez was appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president, Southwest U.S. and Mexico. Before joining SDI, Alvarez worked for BlueScope, focused on the global building and construction sectors.
Another new position, senior vice president of special projects, has been filled by Glenn Pushis. He will be responsible for the design and construction of the company’s previously announced new flat-roll steel mill to serve the Southwestern U.S. and Mexico.
Also, Christopher Graham has been named senior vice president of the Long Products Steel Group. He had been senior vice president, Downstream Manufacturing and president of New Millennium Building Systems. James Anderson will now become vice president, Steel Fabrication and president of NMBS.
