Specialty Steel Works Inc. has acquired Tulsa Centerless Bar Processing Inc. The Oklahoma-based company uses advanced methods to process various steel grades, red metals, nickel products and exotic metals to exacting specifications and requirements.
Tulsa Centerless’ experience in centerless grinding, finished product machining and other bar and tube value-added services is a great complement to the steel bar and seamless tube products and processing services offered by SSWI, the company claims.
“I am pleased to welcome Tulsa Centerless into the SSWI family of companies. Tulsa Centerless fits perfectly into SSWI’s long-term strategy of building a leading specialty steel processor; delivering high-quality steel products and value-added services to our customers. SSWI, its management team and employees are delighted by this opportunity to continue to solidify its position in the specialty steel industry and to strengthen relationships with its customers and suppliers,” said Michael Salamon, CEO and president of SSWI.
Tulsa Centerless will continue to operate as a separate brand and entity under the SSWI umbrella. SSWI also operates wholly owned subsidiaries Niagara LaSalle Corp., Corey Steel Company and Michigan Seamless Tube LLC.
“The Tulsa Centerless family is excited to be joining the SSWI team. The resources that SSWI brings to bear will allow Tulsa Centerless to continue servings its customers at the highest level and expand into additional processes and markets. We are excited about the future that becoming part of the SSWI team provides,” said Evan Hudson, president of Tulsa Centerless.
