A new coatings facility in Walnut, Calif., is planned by voestalpine eifeler Coatings. The new facility is located to provide Physical Vapour Deposition coatings solutions to the manufacturing communities in California and the Western United States.
This facility will be operated by EDRO Engineering, a division of voestalpine and a leading supplier of custom mold bases, tool steels and non-ferrous alloys.
“Our new facility is operated by a team of highly trained professionals and allows us to expand our value-added services to existing customers and into new markets where PVD coatings can help improve the manufacturing process and functional part performance,” said Kris Welch, EDRO’s vice president.
The launch of the new facility represents a new era for voestalpine eifeler Coatings in the United States with an expansion to the west coast to complement existing facilities in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Mexico and Canada.
