Olympic Steel has opened a new distribution facility in Hanceville, Ala. In conjunction with the move, Hannah N. Price has been appointed general manager of the company’s Alabama division.

The Birmingham-area facility will support the company’s plate and sheet production distribution for the Huntsville and Birmingham areas. The new location will also increase the company’s product availability and market share regionally, while reducing distribution-related costs for the current customer base.
Price began her career with Olympic Steel in 2014 as an outside sales representative for the company's Atlanta division and was promoted to regional sales manager in 2016.

Additionally, Olympic has promoted Andrew J. Tobias to serve as general manager of Berlin Metals. Olympic acquired the Hammond, Ind.-based company in 2018.

Tobias began his career with Olympic Steel in 2013 as an outside sales representative for Integrity Stainless. In 2015, he was promoted to stainless steel product manager -specialty metals,  where he has been a key contributor in the sales growth of the company's stainless steel and aluminum products.
