Koike Aronson Debuts New Plasma Cutter Koike Aronson, Inc./Ransome, Arcade, N.Y., has introduced the Monograph Extreme CNC plasma cutter, which features a unitized downdraft table that has a compact perimeter to minimize its footprint and a deep design to maximize fume extraction. The Monograph Extreme can be equipped with a conventional plasma system from 65 amp up to 200 amp, as well as an optional oxy-fuel torch. The controller is a Hypertherm EDGE Pro Ti CNC with Integrated Sensor Ti Torch Height Control. This makes for easy use by the operator, who has a full view of the cutting operation. Low backlash planetary gearboxes and large diameter pinions deliver precise and accurate motion, the company claims. The Monograph Extreme is available in two cutting widths: 5 feet and 6 feet.
