Cosen Smartsaw Features MechaLogix Cosen Saws USA, Charlotte, N.C., will showcase its Cosen Predictive Computing Smartsaw monitoring system at the upcoming IMTS Show. The system is pre-installed with MechaLogix, a proprietary cloud-based technology that gathers sawing performance data in real time. This software can monitor the blade life and accurately predict blade breakage, along with other cost-saving features, via a convenient mobile app. Cosen will also exhibit its fully enclosed CNC-530 Intelligent CNC Performance Bandsaw. This 15 HP, 20.9-inch capacity machine is equipped with V_Drive, and can cut harder material faster and help reduce operator errors with recommended cutting rates and stored parameters, the company says.
