Lapham-Hickey Steel Names New President

Lapham-Hickey Steel Corp., Bedford Park, Ill., announced that Brian Hickey will be promoted to president of the company effective Jan. 1. Lapham-Hickey is North America’s 35th-largest service center company with 2016 revenues of $280 million.

Prior to the promotion, Hickey served as vice president of operations and general manager of the company’s Chicago location. He will replace longtime president Bill Hickey, who will transition to chairman of Lapham-Hickey Steel. Bill Hickey was the 2012 Metal Service Center Executive of the Year. He has guided the family business for 40 years.

The company also promoted Will Hickey to chief commercial officer and Steve Ford to executive vice president.
