Barsteel Corp., a flat-rolled steel distributor and processor, has acquired Millennium Metals, Steger, Ill. Millennium specializes in the processing and distribution of plate and bar products for a wide range of manufacturers across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Far East.

Art Hoekstra, Millennium Metals’ founder, will continue as president of the company.
