RBI Offers Heavy-Gauge Slitters Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, Ill., offers heavy-gauge slitting lines that combine all the features available on RBI light-gauge high-speed slitting lines, but with the robust construction of the company’s heavy-gauge CTL plate lines, the company says. RBI lines offer quick setup and changeover, as well as hands-free threading from uncoiler to recoiler. The auto load system and Coil Prep Station allows users to “pre-prep” coils prior to loading on the uncoiler. When the coil being run tails out, the line will automatically advance the next coil in rotation and load it onto the uncoiler.
