Mar 29, 2017More than 1,000 metals executives are expected to turn out in support of the Boy Scouts of America for the annual Metals Industry Dinner on Thursday, May 18, at the Chicago Hilton.
For the past 46 years, the Metals Industry Dinner has brought together metals professionals from around the world to the largest social gathering of the industry in North America. The Pathway to Adventure Council of the Boy Scouts of America serves northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. Its mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. In addition to the traditional programs of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing, students age 14 to 21 can participate in Exploring programs designed to partner youth with professionals to get on-the-job, first-hand experience in the real world.
The Boy Scouts’ Pathway to Adventure Council serves over 23,500 young men and women and over 8,000 adult volunteers each year in partnership with hundreds of Chicago area and suburban schools and organizations. For more information, visit
