Slice of Stainless Completes Expansion

By on
Slice of Stainless has completed a building expansion at its Cincinnati location, doubling the size of the facility to 55,000 square feet. The expansion allows for increased warehouse capacity for material, additional shearing equipment and improved material handling with the purchase of a new crane. The expansion also includes a redesigned freight entrance with more loading docks.

The project was completed in conjunction with the company’s 25th anniversary, which was celebrated at a ceremony in early May. The company, founded as a small supplier of specialty stainless steel sheet, has grown to a 15-person operation with $1.5 million in inventory.

Slice of Stainless carries 19 grades of stainless and nickel sheets from 0.012-inch to 0.250-inch thick. The company offers material cut to size, but also supplies other distributors with full sheets.
