United Steel Supply Installs Braner Slitting Line

Austin, Texas-based United Steel Supply has installed a high-performance Braner/Loopco Triple Turret Head slitting line at its Jackson, Miss., coil processing and distribution facility. USS is a processor and distributor of pre-painted, Galvalume and galvanized flat-rolled coil products. 

The new line has the capacity to process bare and coated coils with mechanical properties to 120,000 psi in gauges from 0.01 inches through 0.125 inches. The line is equipped with an array of quick-change and operating efficiency features, including the Triple Turret Head Slitter and an Andiamo automatic coil thread-up.
