By on
Alro Steel has acquired assets of Sedalia Steel Supply, which operates two service centers in Missouri, Sedalia Steel Supply in Sedalia and Camdenton Steel Supply in Camdenton.

Sedalia Steel Supply was founded in 1976 by Wayne and Gayle Lamb. The current team at Sedalia will remain with Alro to continue to provide service to its existing customers.

Sedalia offers a complete line of steel products, including coil, beams, channels, angles, plate and rebar, plus galvanized, aluminum and stainless. Processing services include sawing, shearing, plasma burning, plus braking and rolling.

“Alro is excited to have a footprint from which to grow in a market that is expanding,” the company said in a release. Alro is North America’s 11th-largest steel service center company, with 2017 sales of $1.65 billion.
